La Preferida Organic Mild Jalapeno Nacho Slices

We’re big fans of La Preferida’s organic mild jalapeno nacho slices. They’re potently flavorful, with just the right combination of tangy, spicy and zingy.

These organic jalapeno peppers are absolutely delicious. You can choose from mild, like the ones pictured, or hot (not pictured.) We’ve tried them both, and they are both really tasty.

From a taste only perspective, we think these jalapeno nacho slices are absolutely worth the money. From a health perspective, we think you’d be better off using fresh organic jalapeno peppers — preferably home grown, but if you can’t grow ’em at home then getting them from the farmer’s market is almost as good. If you have to choose one over the other, you’ll get better nutrition and value from the fresh peppers.

There are going to be times when you just can’t get fresh jalapeno peppers, and that’s when these jalapeno nacho slices really come in handy.

Also, if you’re in search of convenience and willing to pay for it, these peppers in a jar are worthwhile for that reason also. It’s really nice to be able to just open the jar and add the peppers to whatever dish you are preparing — without having to worry about burning your skin and eyes while you chop fresh hot peppers.

Bottom line, we’ve really enjoyed these, and we’re happy to recommend them to others
